WHAT WOULD SCROOGE DO?
Do you hate your day job?
If so, read this and then consider visiting our article entitled “Changing Careers”.
As a society we're FAR more willing and able to change up our day jobs, whatever that means to any of us, than at any time ever before.
In a lot of ways that makes sense.
And it should.
With so much online information you can make a pretty informed decision concerning what company you might consider applying for.
Add to that the fact unemployment is still historically low.
Though it has of course ticked up in recent months.
Unfortunately this has served to be a two-edged sword.
Since we've become a nation of semi-permanent job jumpers we've come to look at work as nothing more than a way to make enough money to support ourselves.
And not much else.
Our day jobs should serve as the primary foundation for our personal financial goals.
Because our day jobs are our REAL jobs.
Our real jobs are what we can expect to make most of our income.
It's this money we're using to plan our budget.
A budget that will include paying debts and investing for the future.
Moral of the story:
Take your real job seriously.
Please to meet you, hope you guessed my name! It's Blue Collar scrooge here and I'd like to just thank for taking the time to our little blog to help accomplish all things financial. Personally financial that is.
