WHAT WOULD SCROOGE DO?
You can't invest, eliminate debt, or pay your bills without having made some money somewhere along the way.
Period.
So it's settled.
YOU need to do whatever it takes to bring in enough money to make that ambitious dream of yours come true.
That's the good news!
Great in fact.
You get to play the hero in the story you write for yourself.
Why not make your story a great one?
Again it's your story to write.
Essentially there are exactly two ways and two ways only to make money.
Active income.
Passive income.
They both sound like what they are.
Active income:
Just as the name implies, actively obtained income is any money where you trade your time for your money.
You probably know it by another name.
A job.
Your active income includes your hourly wage, salary, tips, commissions, etc.
No ones going to give you any of these things.
You have to ACTIVELY go out and get it yourself.
Hence the name “active”.
Passive income:
Please note. Theres an entire section dedicated to the matter of passive income on this website.
What were really talking about here is the subject of passive income as opposed to what we refer to as “active income”.
Examples of passive would include such things as High Interest Savings Accounts, CD'S, rental properties, dividend paying stocks, etc.
This (passive) income is any regular cash flow resulting from an investment of some sort on your part.
In other words.
Passive income is nothing more than your money making money for you.
Put differently.
In large part, at least for many of us, is to earn, save, and invest enough of our ACTIVE INCOME as fast as possible in order to live out our lives on our PASSIVE INCOME.
There are thousands of ways to make money.
But until you have the money to start investing were nearly entirely restricted to what most squarely falls into the active category.
That means you have to do the work.
Please to meet you, hope you guessed my name! It's Blue Collar scrooge here and I'd like to just thank for taking the time to our little blog to help accomplish all things financial. Personally financial that is.
